On August 2nd, J and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. The last two anniversaries (5 and 6) were spent at an amazing B&B in the North Georgia Mountains that specialized in wine dinners...too bad I was pregnant on both of those trips!
This year, we went to Taco Mac.
Yup. What can we say? We're low maintenance.
Many thanks go to my parents for being the designated babysitters that evening. We couldn't have had such a romantic evening without you!
We always wondered if the "seven year itch" referred to the seventh year of marriage (which we just completed) or the 7th anniversary. Either way, we're happy to report that the two of us have never been more grateful for each other and our marriage partnership.
I am not good at being cheesy or gushy. I also cannot adequately express in words how blessed I feel to be J's helpmate, friend, and wife.
Our love and commitment to each other grows daily, and praise be to God for that! We are blessed beyond measure and we are thankful to all who have encouraged our marriage through prayer and example.
We look forward to seeing what God has in store for us as a couple in the next seven years!
