Rub a dub dub
two sweet cousins in the tub
two sweet cousins in the tub
These cutie face girlies
to be wet with hair all curlies
to be wet with hair all curlies
Let them play, as happy as can be!
adapted from the 1842 poem:
Rub a dub dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker.
Turn them out, knaves all three.
Rub a dub dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker.
Turn them out, knaves all three.
Post apple-orchard, we visited my family for the rest of the afternoon. We were able to have a Sunday family supper and then the cousins got to play together and bathe together--nothing but the best!
